include_SourceCode

Yesterday, I saw Source Code, a thriller/sci-fi with Jake Gyllenhaal, Michelle Monaghan and Vera Farmiga. I must say, I bloody loved it.

After seeing the trailer, I knew I was gonna enjoy the film. I really liked the idea, and I knew there are a lot of things that can happen.

So, there's this guy, military, who repeats the same 8 minutes, in another man's body. He is in a train, in the middle of Chicago and ... the train explodes and everybody dies. [It's not quite a spoiler, so shhh].  His job is to find out who the terrorist who planted the bomb is.

The great thing about this movie is that you get a lot more than you expected from the trailer. Source Code is a brain teaser, it makes you think. The end is not predictable, the actors are perfect for their characters (yes, i do enjoy Jake Gyllenhaal, i sincerely think he's more than just a pretty face and a hot body). Also, the special effects and cgi are really well done, not over the top, but they're appropriate.

The thing is, I do not know if everybody will like this movie as well as I did. I enjoy sci-fi shows, I enjoy time traveling paradoxes, alternate realities and other stuff like that. I've watched a few shows and movies about this subjects, I am familiar with them, so I had no problem understanding them. I do not know if it will be that easy for everybody.

Anyways, I should stop talking. Just... go and watch the movie. It's a brain tease, it's interesting, it's impossible, it's a fairy tale, it's a love story, it's funny, it's hot guy and hot girl, it's code.

PS: I have received some (3) comments about the latest posts being in English. So, Google Translate add-on in the right. It's quite acceptable.
PS 2: Vedeti ca in romana, filmul a fost tradus transfer de indentitate. Eu era sa-l ratez din cauza asta.
